Are appointments in-person or virtual?

At this time, all appointments are virtual. This means that anyone currently in ONTARIO can book an appointment with Dr. Holly, ND. Unfortunately, if you are located outside of Ontario, individual naturopathic care is not available.

When is the best time to book an appointment?

For fertility or conception planning: I recommend booking an appointment as soon as you are considering or thinking about getting pregnant. The Pre-conception Program will ensure that you have all of your questions answered and prepare you, physically and mentally, for the next steps to start a family. This program or appointment type is also available to anyone looking to learn more about starting a family and is a safe space to discuss options and ask questions to determine if this is right for you.

If you are currently pregnant: please book an appointment as soon as possible. While traditional perinatal care (obstetrician, midwife, family doctor) focuses on the growth and development of your baby, the primary goal of our Pregnancy Program is to care for you, the mother. The Pregnancy Program recommends monthly appointments to check in on your nutrient status, mental and emotional health, physical well-being and includes key educational discussions so that you can feel your strongest and most prepared to welcome baby.

If you are postpartum: we recommend booking an appointment within the first 2 weeks after giving birth. This allows us to complete a thorough assessment of you during a time when your body (and life) is going through rapid changes which may cause some discomfort. At this time we will also set up a plan of action with regular appointments to ensure that you are being cared for so that you can show up as the best version on yourself for you baby and family.

Please keep in mind that there is no time limit on the “postpartum period”; it is never too late to book a postpartum assessment. Many women report concerns with the onset being after giving birth. While in an ideal world mothers should receive the same attention and care as new babies, often they do not. Whether 5 days, 5 weeks, 5 moths, 5 years or even 50 years postpartum, we welcome you book an appointment and focus on you.
